Enjoy a Weekend of Rodeo Fun at the 2013 Las Vegas Helldorado Days!

The Las Vegas Helldorado event began in 1934, when Arizona carnival barker Clyde Zerby acknowledged the opportunity to make a quick buck off of workers at the Hoover Dam site and the thousands of visitors who flocked to see the immense construction project develop.

As time went on, the Las Vegas Helldorado event was canceled.  Then, in 2005, in celebration of Las Vegas’ 100th birthday and with help from the Las Vegas Centennial Commission, the Elks Lodge No. 1468 rekindled interest in the original spirit of Helldorado Days. The goal is to provide a fun community event for locals and our families and if out-of-town visitors want to join, they are more than welcome. Ultimately, the festival is about getting back to our roots and having some hometown fun.

Strung Out Sessions
Motley Brews welcomes the Strung Out Sessions to the stage for their first performance at the Great Vegas Festival of Beer!  Their mix of electric and acoustic guitars paired with driving melodies brings their classic rock, 90's alternative and hits of today to life.  They have performed all over the West Coast and draw their inspiration from musical sensations like G. Love and Special Sauce, Alice N' Chains and the Stone Temple Pilots.

Kava Kreation
A crowd favorite who's been with Motley Brews since the beginning, Kava Kreation returns to the Great Vegas Festival of Beer for a full-band session!  Islander roots run deep in this group--whose members hail from Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga and New Zealand--and that influence is evident in the harmonic vocals and upbeat reggae vibe in their music.   Kava Kreation’s music promotes “Peace, Love and Equality,” to create a powerful and positive stage presence and produce some seriously good energy in their “Island Style Riddimz.”

The Nevada Craft Brewers Association is the official non-profit craft beer advocate in the United States.   Motley Brews is excited to designate an area of the festival where members of the Nevada Craft Brewers Association will introduce some rare specialty brews made just for the Great Vegas Festival of Beer.
